The contestants are welcomed into the luxurious villa by host Mia Whiskers. All seems calm until the late arrival of Sassy, a cat with an attitude, who immediately challenges Mr. Whiskers, the early favorite. The two go head-to-head in the first challenge: "Paws & Claws Tug of War."

The house is divided into Team Sassy and Team Mr. Whiskers. In the episode's central challenge, "Catnip Chase," Sassy tries to sabotage Mr. Whiskers, but it backfires spectacularly. A surprise couple emerges: Bella, the shy one, and Tom, the adventurous stray.
